Gardening is a fantastic way to get your body moving and get in some extra exercise. Even smaller gardens require some physical effort that will help increase your heart rate for a work out that’s sure to not be boring. Gardening is a great and fun way to exercise, getting various muscle groups moving, stretching and bending.

The best thing about gardening is that it can be tailored to each individual, no matter your fitness level. You can participate in low or high impact gardening. The choice is yours depending on mobility and preference.

Vitamin D is essential for a healthy body. What better way to get your dose of Vitamin D than to be out in the garden! Don’t forget to be sun smart when being out in the sun but having some sun exposure on bare skin is essential. As most of us reading this blog post live here in Barbados you have no excuse.

Having a garden is a great way to feel a sense of accomplishment and some really great looking plant pots are always a show stopper. Whether you are germinating seeds from scratch, planting seedlings, trees or anything else! Watching them grow and seeing the wonder of nature flourish before your very eyes is something one must experience in order to fully appreciate.
Gardening saves money in so many ways. It’s unfortunate, but gardening has got a reputation of being expensive. We at The pot Warehouse in Barbados have the lowest prices on pots.

It most definitely can be expensive depending on the type of garden you choose to have. However, it does not need to be expensive. There are many low cost options to get you started. It can be as expensive or inexpensive as you would like for it to be.

There is just something about gardening that’s definitely therapeutic. Having your fingers in the dirt, the sunshine on your face and breeze on your skin. There a sense of grounding that comes with gardening, makes you feel closer and more connected to the earth.
